These Pennsylvania patches were designed in the shape of the state and have the American flag within
the Pennsylvania state symbol. A gold line across the patch, running through the Star of Life
depicts the common stripping along our ambulances.
It should be noted that Pennsylvania does have a state certification patch issued through the
Department of Health.
